Biggleswade Town Council is pleased to welcome and announce that Mr Isaac Lord has joined the team on the 1st March 2022 as the new Place Shaping Manager.
Isaac is passionate in supporting the delivery of Biggleswade’s Place Shaping plan within the context of the Corporate, Strategic Engagement, and Neighbourhood plans. He will be working with the Town Clerk & Chief Executive and the Head of Governance & Strategic Partnerships in the development of the place-shaping agenda and strategic delivery of the present and future social, environmental and economic development of Biggleswade. As an active member of the Council’s Management Team he will ensure decision making and delivering operational and place-shaping benefits to the Biggleswade community. He will manage the operation, maintenance and regeneration of the Council’s town centre and wider area services and assets; these include supporting the Head of Governance and Strategic Partnerships on managing the complete suite of health & safety, fire, and wider categories risk assessments and mitigation activity. Isaac will also facilitate the Council’s strategic decision-making on critically important, strategic level, planning applications.
We are excited to have Isaac on board and look forward to a productive partnership with him at the Town Council.
A short note from Isaac is as follows:
“I’m very glad to have joined BTC and look forward to revitalising the town centre alongside the team here. My family has always lived in Bedfordshire and I hold Biggleswade close to my heart having shortly lived here with my partner during the pandemic so I’m passionate to see the town succeed. I bring a wealth of retail experience having worked in M&S for the past six years at all levels within store, along with a First-Class degree qualification and I’m very keen to support local businesses whilst ensuring we strive to deliver a more sustainable, inclusive and thriving community”
