Grants for local organisations

Biggleswade Town Council (BTC) acknowledges the significant contribution that community clubs, charities and other organisations make to enrich and improve the quality of life of so many residents in Biggleswade. BTC has funds available to support the operation and development of these highly valued services. 

The Town Council has an annual Grants Application process and is pleased to receive applications for financial assistance from these groups when it is apparent that Biggleswade Town residents will benefit from the support provided. All applications will be considered without prejudice on an individual basis.

A form to apply for a grant is currently being updated. Once the process has been reviewed for the next cycle, the form will be available here. Alternatively, applicants can call the office on 01767 313134 or email enquiries@biggleswadetowncouncil.gov.uk with any questions regarding the process.

Important dates

Applications are considered on an annual basis by the Finance & General Purposes Committee each January. The deadline for receipt of applications is 31 December in the preceding year this has been extended to 5th January 2022.

Grants are then awarded to the successful applicants in April. To view BTC 22.23 Grants awarded 

Applicants should be aware that the Council receives a high volume of requests to support the operation and development of these valuable services, The Town Council has limited funds available and will not award grants in excess of the annual budget for this purpose.
