The Mayor’s charity pub quiz was a resounding success, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd.
Held at The Rose pub, the event featured a lively atmosphere with participants eagerly competing in various trivia rounds. The quiz covered a range of topics, from local history to general knowledge, keeping everyone engaged and entertained. Shaun the Pub Manager was the successful Quiz Master of the evening.Â
Generous donations and entry fees raised over £850, which will support the Mayor’s chosen charities Tourettes Action and CHUMS.
Cllr Foster expressed his gratitude for the community’s support and highlighted the importance of such events in fostering community spirit and aiding those in need.
Overall, the night was a testament to the town’s camaraderie and commitment to charitable causes.
Mayor’s from neighbouring towns of Houghton-Regis, Raunds, Rushden and Ampthill were also present to support the evening.Â
