On April 5th, 2024, Mayor Mark Foster visited Beaumont Park Care Home.
The care home, which prioritises person-centered nursing, features 37 rooms, with some currently undergoing renovation. Presently, it accommodates 24 residents, some of whom the Mayor had the pleasure of meeting. During his visit, residents and staff engaged Mayor Foster with various questions about the Council and its initiatives.
Home manager Tryness Tshuma and Activities Coordinator Barbara Sawaryn accompanied the Mayor during his tour of the quaint building and expansive grounds. They provided insights into the care and services offered to residents at the home.
