The Public Realm Team have removed a part of the fence panel at Jubilee Gardens on Wednesday 28th August 2024.
The decision to remove a small part of the fence was agreed by Members of the Public Land & Open Spaces Committee.
The decision asked that the Public Realm Team remove the 2.5 metre section of the metal palisade fence and monitor the access situation, with an operational review in collaboration with the police and CBC Officers for crime and anti-social behaviour by late autumn. This would be for a trial period of up to 12 months with regular updates to the PLOS committee.
