In December 2022 Mayor Grant Fage had the pleasure of officially opening HBC Logistics’ new warehouse on Stratton Business Park.
Relocating from Baldock with a premise about a quarter of the size, this building includes 60,000sq ft of floor space and new state-of-the-art offices.
Just a few weeks in and the warehouse is already almost full, so hopefully, the company are happy with their decision to invest here!
It’s exciting to welcome new businesses to Biggleswade, offering local employment opportunities and services which are in demand amongst their ever-growing customer base.
The Mayor expects we will see more industrial development over the coming years – the challenge for Councillors is to make sure that new warehouse space is of the highest quality, that the landscaping is appropriate and that we get continued infrastructure investment particularly, around the roads in the south of the town, for access to the A1.
