Councillor Mark Foster showed his support for the arts in Biggleswade by attending the East Beds Concert Band Summer Concert at Stratton Upper School.
The band and its members showcased remarkable talent and provided a diverse programme that catered to everyone’s taste, ranging from pieces like “Country Gardens” and “Copacabana” to nostalgic hits from the 70s and patriotic classics like “Land of Hope and Glory.”
The East Beds Concert Band is a community wind band that welcomes participants of all ages.  The band’s repertoire encompasses a wide range of music genres, from show tunes like “Cats” and “West Side Story” to iconic film scores like “Pirates of the Caribbean,” “Lord of the Rings,” “Harry Potter,” and “James Bond.”Â
The East Beds Concert Band’s next Winter/Christmas concert will take place on Saturday 9th December 2023. Please support these local arts and cultural events as it is important as it helps to promote community engagement and provide opportunities for artists and performers.
