BTC response on recent community space damage

Biggleswade Town Council is aware of some recent damage and fly-tipping in key community spaces over the weekend, and we appreciate the support of residents in keeping our town looking its best.

At Franklins Recreation Ground, the entrance to the Splash area has sustained damage, with displaced bricks creating a potential hazard. Our Public Realm (PR) team will be making the area safe and carefully storing the materials for future repairs.

Meanwhile, at Stratton Way Cemetery, some of the hedging has been damaged. This space is maintained with great care, and while this is a setback, our team remains committed to ensuring the area remains a peaceful and well-kept place for all visitors.

Additionally, there has been a case of fly-tipping at Eagle Farm Road, which our team will be addressing as part of their ongoing work to maintain clean and welcoming spaces throughout the town.

The Town Council is grateful for the community’s continued support and encourages residents to help by reporting any issues they may notice. Together, we can keep Biggleswade a wonderful place for everyone to enjoy.
