Carriageway resurfacing

Central Bedfordshire Council Highways Department have announced that carriageway resurfacing will take place on Saffron Road, Biggleswade between 19th June and 4th July.

The work is scheduled to take place between 0800-1800. Saffron Court will be used for overnight parking and Foundry Lane will have suspended yellow lines during this period of works.

The announcement says that in order to carry out the work efficiently and safely, residents living in the road should avoid parking vehicles adjacent to the areas that are being worked on.

Advance warning signs have been in place confirming the date and expected duration, although this is subject to change due to circumstances.

Visitors to the Town Council building will have to park their vehicles in car parks around the Market Square during this time.
